I have participated in the birth and recovering of hundreds shows, auditoriums and theatres.
I contributed to the training of engineers
and doctors in acoustics, as well as sound
technicians, to whom I was either guardian or training
Master.
Why should it be We
and not I ?
Although the creative process is essentially solitary
the specificities necessary to the realization of high
level goods and fittings are essentially multiple and
complex.
In the course of my career I could establish links of
a close collaboration and partnership with industrialists
and craftsmen, independent and complementary, who are
among the best in their line and with whom I carry on
collaborating.
why ARPHONIA ?
Because in the year 2002 I left SCV International,
the first european audio professional group and owner
of APG, and created ARPHONIA
company, whose name symbolizes the fusion
of art and science in sound.
After conceiving and developing all
the products of the APG range since its birth in 1978,
I decided to devote myself solely to creating acoustics
and electro acoustics, that is to say the study, conception
and integration of sound diffusion components in a mastered
architectural environment, a sound aesthetics that can
only be appreciated in a "system" and not a
"product" approach.
In fact ; how could it be possible that listening comfort,
the pleasure enjoyed by the most sophisticated and performing
devices might be independent of the acoustic environment
and the place where it operates ?
The solution goes necessarily through the fusion
of electro acoustics and acoustics in a global process.
That's the reason why, I am not only focused on the design of drivers, cabinets and systems but also the way to achieve the best of these products in the place they have to perform in.
